March equinox 2020 will be at 10:49 PM on Thursday, March 19 (Central Time)
An equinox is regarded as the moment in time when the plane (extended indefinitely in all directions) of Earth's equator passes through the center of the Sun.
Julius Caesar established the Julian calendar in 45 BC, he set 25 March as the date of the spring equinox; this was already the starting day of the year in the Persian and Indian calendars. Because the Julian year is longer than the tropical, the calendar "drifted" with respect to the two equinoxes – so that in 300 AD the spring equinox occurred on about 21 March, and by 1500 AD it had drifted backwards to 11 March. Therefore in Luciferianism, March 21st at Noon (derived from the Greater Bundahishn and other Zoroastrian texts) Ahriman was said to have descended into the Earth and manifested his elements of darkness which balanced the natural order. More on this subject below.
The March Equinox of March 19 is also known as Rites of Spring, Eostra’s Day, Vernal Equinox, March Equinox, Spring Equinox, and the Roman Bacchanalia. Ostara is the second of three spring festivals on the Wheel of the Year. The March Equinox arrives between Imbolc and Beltane, to celebrate the balance between extremes that is found amid the seasons.
For Traditional Witches, the March Equinox is a marker which indicates balance and the cycle of the youthful deity grows in maturity towards growth and fertility in union with the goddess mother.
In the Luciferian Tradition:
In Yatuk Dinoih ceremonies (from DRAUGA by Michael W Ford), the rites of Ahriman and the Daevas must be performed during Night. The exception for this rule is on the Vernal Equinox, March 21st at Noon.
The Greater Bundahishn describes that during the month of Frawardin (Farvardin), day of Ohrmazd (March 21), at noon, when day and night were equal (noon at the vernal equinox) Ahriman who was dwelling in Outer Darkness (the Abyss or Void) entered the world through the Sky in the form of a great Serpent (or Dragon).
In Anticosmic or Qlippothic Luciferian traditions, there are Four Demonic Mothers associated with the Four Equinox periods: 1. Lilith 2. Naamah 3. Aggereth or Agrat Bat Mahalath 4. Mahalath. Each Mother Rules one of the four tequfot (The Vernal Equinox, The Summer Solstice, The Autumnal Equinox and The Winter Solstice). At each of these dates, they gather at the Mountain of Darkness. In honoring them at these times, face the North and offer them seed or fluids to honor them. The Hour of Sunset to Midnight are their hours, honor them now. *From The Bible of the Adversary, Michael W Ford
