The Path of Old Norse, Germanic and Anglo-Saxon sorcery and witchcraft hold both sorceries of darkness, Niflheim, and the blazing light of Muspellheim. There are paths of initiation and potentials of self-mastery via the Nine Worlds and the Thurses of primordial Chaos. The particular imagery of the Myrkrian Altar with ambient drones by Akhtya (https://akhtya.bandcamp.com/) set the focus of this short video.
MYRKRIAN RITES - Runes & Trollskapr explores these teachings of ancient seidr, galdr, and runic spells from a Luciferian approach. The Hardcover edition and the Hardcover (Case wrap) Color Edition of the Grimoire is presented in this video as well. The color edition reveals a few runic bind-spells that are not in the Soft and Hardcover editions.

This video introduces Myrkrian Witchcraft and the arcana of Runa (mysteries) presented in the Grimoire, "Myrkrian Rites - Runes & Trollskapr" by Michael W. Ford; this book is illustrated with the Thursian paintings of Blood Fire Ritual Art and numerous runic formulas and descriptions. Luciferian philosophy is aligned and parallel with ritual Seidr, Galdr, and Trollskapr, shaman-mantra and sorcerous rites using Bind-Runes and Galdr incantations that summon the primal forces of the Thurses (Chaos Giants or abyssic powers) of Niflheim and Muspellheim. *Music by Akhtya https://akhtya.bandcamp.com/ Michael W. This video is an overview of the general history of the Left-Hand Path including the ideals and philosophical foundation associated with both Luciferianism and Satanism. A special thank you to Vince who posted the suggestion of a video " talking about the left hand path in more detail"; of which, this discussion is the foundation.
There are three general considerations discussed in this video:
The Balance between the primal forces of instinctual, emotional desire, intuition (in the abstract as emotional feeling and passion) and a muse for the Luciferian. LILITH is also Vampiric and the dark succubus that preys upon and inspires primal darkness to take form in the individual. The Luciferian develops self-discipline and the mental strength of Will to control and direct this dark energy (as the gift of Lilith if you wish) towards beneficial motivational thoughts, words, and actions in life.
The commonly recognized Shakti as the divine feminine is the creative, healing, and nurturing Mothering aspect that cultivates empathy, sustaining life, and protecting qualities that are essential for life. This is balanced with the demonic masculine Samael force of mental discipline, will, Martial (Mars) force as required and understood simply as "Will to Power".
The Satanic aspect balances the Daemonic Feminine and Masculine to be aware of the short existence of physical life and to apply meaningful thought prior to communicating and taking action in life. Carnal existence includes the individual self-awareness of the importance of indulgence and pleasure; yet a LHP initiate must balance this with the rational discipline of the way 'cause and effect' works: do not seek self-destruction and the diminishment of the core moral values that shape your Psyche.
Question all beliefs if they cause needless dogmatic restriction, test your strengths and focus on the four foundations: BALANCE, POWER, WISDOM, and STRENGTH (see "Apotheosis" by Michael W. Ford). Self-accountability is the cornerstone of the Left-Hand Path initiate. Spiritual rebellion is not breaking laws or negative acts; one must strive to exist in society in the best way one can. Luciferians exist in many walks of life and have many diverse views of what 'success' actually is.
Shakti as Lilith is represented as demonically liberating, spiritually rebellious (to question dogmatic laws in addition to restrictive belief) and like all Adversarial (Luciferian) concepts contains both Divine and Demonic aspects. Just as SAMAEL is the Satanic / Luciferian liberator and self-illuminating rebel and (Gnostic) Archon: The Devil (the tempting and cunning Spirit who operates in the Laws of Nature and concepts such as Cause and Effect) and the Angel/Deity of self-illuminating Light (of the Morning and Evening Star).
The Left-Hand Path and Luciferian teachings are based in rational, disciplined methods of preparation and initiation in foundation: this is the essential start of the practice of Magick. The Black Arts of Ritual, Spells, Sorcery, Witchcraft, and ceremonial invocations are methods as the extension of the Will of the Luciferian; essentially tools and keys towards the demonic and divine.
First to descend, embrace, and with force of will, master those elements of Hell within. Secondly to use discipline and the balance of the self-illuminating flame of the Psyche to direct the dark energies to fuel the divine Will of your own design. Luciferianism has ciphers, symbols, and confrontational imagery to test, tempt, and challenge the initiate; the aim is to set in the widdershins motion of the Triad of the Morning Star: Liberation, Illumination, and Apotheosis.
Unlock the secrets of the occult as Michael W. Ford delves into the dark mysteries of Kabbalah, the Qlippoth, and Luciferian Magick. In this in-depth exploration, Ford examines the origins and symbolism of the Sefirot and their shadow counterparts, the Qlippoth-known as the “Shells” or “Husks” and the “Left Emanation” from Zoharic literature, representing the demonic realms of Sitra Achra, the “Other Side.”
Discover how Luciferian philosophy rejects the traditional Tree of Life, embracing instead the path of balance through the Sitra Achra, where dark energies are harnessed for self-transformation, liberation, and apotheosis. Learn how ancient mythologies, Zoharic lore, and the symbolism of the Great Dragon and the Ouroboros inform the Luciferian approach to magick. Ford discusses the importance of integrating both light and shadow, transcending concepts of good and evil, and using the power of the Qlippoth as fuel for authentic initiatory change.
This video is essential viewing for those interested in the esoteric traditions of Kabbalah, the transformative power of the Adversary, and the path of the Black Magickian seeking balance, self-mastery, and the illumination of the Black Flame. Michael W. Ford’s video explains the connection between Luciferian Magick and the Qlippoth by presenting the Qlippoth as essential to the Luciferian path of self-transformation and empowerment.
In Ford’s system, the Qlippoth-understood as the “shells” or shadow side of the Kabbalistic Tree of Life-represent the hidden, often feared aspects of existence and consciousness that must be confronted, integrated, and mastered rather than avoided. Luciferian Magick, as Ford describes, is fundamentally adversarial: it seeks to challenge established norms, embrace darkness as a source of wisdom, and use the forces symbolized by the Qlippoth for personal ascent and apotheosis.
Through ritual and meditative work, practitioners engage with the 22 spheres of the Infernal Qlippoth, “filling and draining those shells,” which is a metaphor for harnessing and transforming chaotic or destructive energies into sources of power and insight. Ford’s approach is not about worshipping evil, but about achieving balance between light and shadow, flesh and spirit, and using the “adversarial” energies of the Qlippoth to fuel authentic self-creation and mastery.
The rites and practices described-such as those in his grimoire Liber HVHI-offer practical methods for working with these shadow forces, making the Qlippoth a central pillar in the Luciferian magickal process.
Ishtar, also known as Inanna, was a major Mesopotamian goddess revered for both love and war. She embodied dualities—beauty and desire, violence and mastery—and was worshipped across Sumer, Akkad, Babylon, and Assyria. Associated with the planet Venus and known as the “Queen of Heaven,” Ishtar’s myths include her dramatic descent into the underworld and return, symbolizing cycles of death and rebirth. Her legacy as a powerful, complex, and transformative deity influenced later goddesses and continues to inspire today
