In the retelling of the Gen. 6:1–4 story in First Book of Enoch, Azazel (or Azael) is one of the angelic leaders who lusted after human females. He taught humans to craft weapons and ornaments (8:1–2). The connection to the biblical Azazel is explicit in the narrative's continuation, where the angel Raphael is instructed to "bind Azazel, send him to the dark wilderness of Dudael, and cover him with hard, jagged rocks" (10:4–5). The Dudael implied is Bet Hadudo/Bet Harudo of Mishnah fame, which likely is the cliff where the "scapegoat" was thrown.

A beautifully dark design from "Dragon of the Two Flames" by Michael W. Ford (this illustration is by Kitti Solymosi) featuring Azazel in his "Watcher" / goat-demon and Unclean Bird incarnations. The Hebrew name of Azazyl is printed in blood red below. This is printed on a 24" x 24" cloth and is ideal for walls, altars or any other use you could have in mind.
